Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Nap Checker Pro (also trading as “NAPChecker”), a service that checks the consistency of a UK business’s name, address and phone number (NAP) across online business listings. When you use this service you are contracting with Nap Checker Pro.
1. Acceptance
By submitting a check, purchasing a bundle, or otherwise continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.
2. The service
Nap Checker Pro queries the business data sources that are live at the time of your check (currently Google Business Profile and Yelp) and returns a report of any name, address or phone number mismatches together with a health score. A copy of the report is emailed to the address you provide. Each email address receives 2 free lifetime checks; further checks are sold in one-time bundles of 3 checks.
Reports are generated from third-party data and may be incomplete or out of date. They are provided for general information only and are not professional, legal or marketing advice. You are responsible for verifying results before acting on them.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- use it for fraud, spam, or to submit email addresses you are not entitled to use;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including malware, probing, automated scraping, or circumventing check limits or technical restrictions;
- resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service or its reports.
You must provide accurate information and keep your contact details up to date, and you are responsible for activity carried out under your account or email address.
4. Intellectual property
Nap Checker Pro retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, scoring methodology, report formats, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and the reports you purchase for your own business purposes.
5. Service level
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Third-party data sources may be unavailable, rate-limited or incomplete. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Payment and subscriptions
Paid check bundles are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Prices are shown in GBP and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Our own refund window is set out in our Refund Policy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, purchased check credits that remain unused may be forfeited where the termination results from your breach. You may stop using the service at any time.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, the data you submit, or your breach of these terms.
9. General
You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland (UK law), and the courts of Northern Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
